About the Role: -------------------

Remitly is looking for a Principal Product Designer to be the lead design voice for our card products. This is one of the most consequential design roles at Remitly: you will own the end-to-end design vision for our card experience. From onboarding, through activation and funding, into everyday spend, account management, and more.

This is a high-trust, regulated design space. Card experiences carry real financial weight for customers, many of them building financial footing in a new country. Onboarding, disclosures, funding, credit, and repayment all demand clarity, dignity, and accuracy. You will set the standard for how these moments feel.

This role requires both a visionary and an executor. You will set the long-range design direction for how the card experience should feel and function. The information architecture, the interaction language, the trust and disclosure patterns and then you will do the craft work including prototypes, flows, full-fidelity designs, and delivery.

You will report to the GM of Payments and work in a hybrid capacity from our Arlington office.

Compensation Details

The starting base salary range for this position is typically $168,000–$210,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
