Ces solutions comprennent notamment du vitrage spécialisé avec louvres intégrées, des lanterneaux et des murs-rideaux en bois ou en aluminium dont la qualité et la fiabilité améliorent tout projet de construction de grande envergure.
Résumé du poste
Relevant directement du Directeur de la production, l’ingénieur manufacturier en assurance qualité est responsable de la conception, de la mise en œuvre et du maintien des processus d’assurance qualité afin de garantir que les produits respectent les exigences réglementaires, de sécurité et de satisfaction client. Cette personne utilisera la méthodologie Lean pour favoriser l’amélioration continue et travaillera en collaboration transversale pour optimiser l’efficacité manufacturière tout au long du cycle de vie du produit.
Ce que vous ferez:
- Diriger la résolution de problèmes, l’analyse des causes profondes et la mise en œuvre d’actions correctives pour les problèmes liés aux processus, en utilisant des outils statistiques.
- Diriger et participer à des activités d’amélioration continue afin d’améliorer le système de qualité, tels que 5S, événements Kaizen, méthodologie Lean, etc.
- Diriger et mettre en œuvre les outils et techniques du Lean Manufacturing (ateliers, kanban, management visuel, 5S, maintenance productive totale, réduction des mises en place, etc.).
- Développer et dispenser des formations pour renforcer la sensibilisation à la qualité.
- Aider à établir, mettre en œuvre et maintenir le système de management de la qualité.
- Créer et entretenir la documentation qualité de l’entreprise, telle que les manuels qualité, les procédures qualité, etc.
- Interfacer avec les fournisseurs, l’ingénierie et les opérations pour fournir des retours et des données sur les produits et les processus.
- Développer et maintenir des stratégies d’audit de fabrication pour les procédés, les produits et les systèmes.
- Participer à la surveillance des fournisseurs des matériaux achetés, des pièces finies et des processus.
- Déterminer les équipements d’inspection et de test nécessaires pour évaluer la qualité et la fiabilité des produits.
- Diriger et gérer des projets visant à améliorer le coût et la qualité des procédés de fabrication, des produits et des composants achetés.
- Mettre en œuvre et maintenir des contrôles des procédés via des techniques avancées de planification de la qualité (FMEA, gestion des caractéristiques clés, prévention des erreurs, etc.).
- Rechercher, évaluer, justifier et recommander des équipements industriels pour les opérations.
- Préparer des demandes d’investissement et superviser la mise en œuvre des projets d’équipements lourds.
- Se tenir informé des technologies et équipements de pointe.
- Participer au développement de procédés de fabrication stratégiques. Assurer également le développement de la planification capitale à court et long terme.
- Préparer et coordonner le planning de mise en œuvre des projets majeurs et des changements de procédé.
- Développer et maintenir toute la documentation des procédés (par ex. routings, travail standard, instructions de travail, fiches de mise en place, etc.) afin d’assurer l’exactitude.
- Analyser les propositions de modifications d’ingénierie pour leur impact et faisabilité en fabrication.
Ce dont vous avez besoin pour réussir:
- Baccalauréat en ingénierie ou dans une discipline connexe.
- 3 à 5 années d’expérience en qualité et ingénierie ou expérience connexe dans un environnement manufacturier, avec une expérience de supervision ou de leadership souhaitée.
- Expérience appréciée en Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO ou équivalent.
- Solides compétences en mathématiques et en analyse.
- Forte organisation et souci du détail, avec la capacité de gérer plusieurs projets simultanément.
- Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale, avec la capacité de bâtir des relations solides et durables.
- Compréhension des systèmes informatiques applicables, tels que Microsoft Office et les logiciels spécifiques à la fonction.
- Influence et gestion indirectes; capacité à instaurer la confiance et à impliquer les autres.
- Doit posséder de solides compétences interpersonnelles et être capable d’interagir avec les différents départements de l’organisation.
- Maîtrise bilingue de l’anglais et du français.

Quality and Manufacturing Engineer – Longueuil, Quebec

Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Production Director, the Quality/Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements. This person will utilize lean methodology to drive continuous improvement, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize manufacturing efficiency across the product lifecycle.
What You Will Do:
- Lead Problem solving, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns using statistical tools.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen Events, lean methodology, etc.
- Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing tools & techniques (workshops, kanban, visual management, 5S, total productive maintenance, set-up reduction, etc.)
- Develop and provide training to build quality awareness.
- Assist in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
- Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
- Interface with Suppliers, Engineering and Operations to provide feedback and data for products and processes.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing audit strategies for processes, products and systems.
- Assist in vendor surveillance of purchased materials, finished parts and processes.
- Determine inspection and test equipment required to evaluate product quality and reliability.
- Lead and manage projects to improve cost and quality of manufacturing processes, products and purchased components.
- Implement and maintain process controls through advanced quality planning techniques (FMEA, key characteristics management, mistake proofing, etc.).
- Research, evaluate, justify, and recommend capital equipment for operations.
- Prepare capital expenditure requisitions and manage the implementation of capital equipment projects.
- Stay current with state-of-the art technologies and equipment.
- Participate in developing strategic manufacturing processes. Also assist in developing the short and long-range capital planning.
- Prepare and coordinate the implementation schedule for major projects and process changes.
- Develop and maintain all process documentation (i.e. routings, standard work, work instructions, setup sheets, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze proposed engineering changes for manufacturing impact and feasibility.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field discipline.
- 3 - 5 years quality and engineering or related experience in a manufacturing environment, with supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO or related experience preferred.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail skills along with the ability to hand multiple projects at once.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to build strong and sustainable relationships.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office and function specific software.
- Indirect influence and management; builds trust and involves others
- Must have solid interpersonal skills, ability to interact with various departments throughout the organization
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French Canadian.
