About Provider Growth at Headway

The Provider Growth team owns the full lifecycle of how therapists find, join, and build their practice on Headway, from awareness through understanding the platform and seeing a healthy volume of patients in the first 90 days. We sit at the heart of Headway's business: a provider who is active and seeing patients is the engine of everything we do.

About This Role

We're hiring a Staff Product Manager to own provider activation. This person is responsible for educating new providers on how to be successful with Headway, helping them migrate their patients onto the platform, and ensuring we maximize the volume of high-quality appointments they have in their early tenure. This is one of the highest-leverage but least-invested-in areas of the product, core to driving provider sentiment, retention, and referral, alongside the core monetization moment.

What You'll Own

Own the provider activation funnel, identify the stages that matter within activation and the thresholds that lead to high-quality retention

Build the strategy to drive the volume of activated providers and appointments per new provider, leading to growth in provider retention and LTV

Partner closely with other teams — including sales, CX, pricing, ranking, provider experience, and more — to ensure activation is effective, simple, and delightful

Drive porting: the tools, flows, and incentives that help providers bring their existing patients to Headway

Develop a well-segmented onboarding journey to build trust and confidence with new providers

Define the team's strategy, OKRs, and roadmap

Compensation and Benefits:

The expected base pay range for this position is $265,200 - $331,500, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an equity grant, depending on the position and level.
